On Societal Spiraling, Sacred Strength and Story Sharing

Hey Reader,

The world is SO WEIRD right now. The vibes are completely off. And when I say the vibes are off, I mean they packed their bags, left a note, and ain't even paying their part of the rent anymore. 😩

The energy is giving unhinged but let's get into what's on my mind this week...

RANT

We're living in dystopian times and it's wild.

Listen. I try not to be one of those "end times" people who stay catastrophizing everything. But WHAT IN THE ENTIRE WORLD is happening right now? Every single day, I'm watching stuff unfold that makes me wonder if we're living in some alternate timeline where everything done lost its mind. 😳

A CEO of a major healthcare company gets gunned down in broad daylight in NYC. People are fighting in grocery stores over literally nothing. Folks are living in their cars while working full-time jobs. Everything costs too much money and apparently aliens are casually a thing now?

And the wildest part? We're all just watching it happen in real time. Social media has us all as witnesses to a world that feels increasingly feral. My group chats stay active with "Did you see this??" messages because the news is a constant stream of things that make you go "Wait... WHAT?" 😩

It's not that wild things never happened before. But there's something different about right now. The concentrated chaos. The constant exposure to every single crisis. The way nothing even shocks us anymore because we're just swimming in a sea of absurdity. πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ

Some of y'all be like "this is just like that movie..." and I'm like NO. This isn’t supposed to be like any movie. This is supposed to be regular degular real life. Instead, we're out here living through what feels like every genre of film at once, and none of them are romantic comedies. 🎬

The math ain't mathing. The timeline feels glitched. And I'm tired of it feeling like we're all just watching helplessly as things get more and more dystopian. But you know what? This is exactly why we gotta remember who we are. Which brings me to...

REFLECTION

Walk with the authority of who and whose you are.

In times like these, when everything external feels chaotic and uncertain, we most need to remember whose we are.

And now, for sure, we need to be grounded and anchored in something beyond ourselves. A belonging that can keep us rooted in flighty times. When the world feels like it's spinning out of control, that's when we most need to stand firm in our divine authority. πŸ’ͺ🏾

I'm standing in who I am and whose I am. And right now, I'm affirming that I am a child of God, divinely guided and chosen for such a time as this. And I am equipped accordingly. I'll tell you what I've been telling myself.

You are a walking embodiment of God's grace and mercy. A living, breathing testimony of favor. The child of God who has been through hell and back and can tell the story of standing through it.

You are not your biggest mistakes. You are not your worst choices. You are not the reflection that you avoided in the mirror on the day you felt least worthy. πŸ™πŸΎ

Your journey, with all its twists and turns, its highs and lows, has brought you exactly where you need to be. Those layers of stories? They needed to unfold just as they did. Because who you are becoming had to experience every single part of that journey. The struggles, the victories, the moments that broke you and the ones that built you back up. All of it was necessary. ❀️

And when you step into seeing that reflection of yourself, you can step into who God has truly called you to be, without shame or guilt. The world might be acting crazy, but you? You can choose to walk differently. To show up differently. To BE different.

Reader, you are divinely guided and protected. Your assignment is too important for you to get caught up in the chaos around you. You were chosen for such a time as this. Walk like you know that. Move like you believe that. Stand firm like your soul understands that truth.

The world might feel unstable, but you are anchored in something greater than what we can see. Your foundation isn't built on what's happening around you, but on who holds you. And that's unshakeable. ✊🏾

Speaking of walking in divine authority, let's talk about that assignment you've been carrying. You know the one. That book that keeps waking you up at night, tugging at your spirit, refusing to let you rest. The one you know you're meant to write but somehow keeps not getting written. πŸ“š

Between conflicting advice, an overwhelming publishing landscape, and the daily demands of life, that book stays stuck inside you. Maybe you've been Googling "how to write a book" endlessly. Maybe you're afraid that what you have to say isn't book-worthy. Or maybe you're just trying to figure out how to get the book you've already written out into the world. 🌍

I can help you make this happen. Whether you have 30 minutes a day or 3 hours, we've built The Book Academy to help you navigate the entire process, and I want you to be part of it. πŸ“–πŸ–Š

The difference between aspiring authors and published ones isn't talent. It's having clear frameworks, expert guidance, and support when obstacles arise (because they will). In these chaotic times, we need your voice, your story, your wisdom more than ever. πŸ™ŒπŸΎ
